EYE HORTILUX HPS lamps were designed with enough violet, blue, and green spectrum to be used as a stand alone light source throughout all phases of plant production. This means that EYE HORTILUX HPS lamps can be used as your only light source.

HPS Core & Coil ballasts were designed to only operate HPS lamps, Metal Halide Core & Coil ballasts were designed to only operate Metal Halide lamps. Conversion lamps give you the ability to operate a HPS lamp on a Metal Halide ballast or Metal Halide lamp on a HPS ballast. EYE HORTILUX provides conversion lamps for both Core & Coil ballast types.
